“The reason for seeing Ellen was Phillip had to see the Dr about his diabetes, he was told that he had to lose weight or he would have to go on Insulin. This was a wake-up call for him. The Dr told us about the Healthy Eating Activity & Lifestyle (HEAL) Program run by Ellen at Kingscliff.
The first time we went to see Ellen, Phillip weighed 114.5kg with no energy and had really bad eating habits. Ellen put Phillip on a very easy, individualised home exercise program and over the last 12 weeks he has gone from 15 minutes per day to over 1 hour per day plus walking for approximately 40 minutes.
We started the HEAL Program which was very beneficial to us and now he has learnt how to eat properly, exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle. This is an excellent program for him, Ellen encouraged him all the way and with a lot of hard work he has completely turned his lifestyle around. He has lost 13kgs and 10.5cm from his Waist Circumference in the 12 weeks.
He now says he feels the best he has in 40 years, he is sleeping better and now has the will to keep on going.
I also had to lose weight and better my lifestyle. My weight was 89.9kg. I have done many weight loss programs that consisted of taking vitamin tablets and eating watermelon for breakfast but they did not help me to keep the weight off. Now that we are both doing the program it is helping the both of us. I have lost 6kgs with only walking as my exercise and am eating better having now the knowledge and skills to make healthier lifestyle choices.
“Thanks to Ellen’s expertise, for being there the whole way and encouraging us. We both highly recommend Ellen & the HEAL Program.”
“I have been suffering with osteoarthritis in my knees for many years. Since having seen Ellen Wilson Accredited Exercise Physiologist she has kept me mobile and tremendously well. If it wasn’t because of the exercises, education and continuous support Ellen has given me, I could have ended up in a wheelchair. From my humble opinion, Ellen has a very caring, happy and positive manner. I have no hesitation what so ever to recommend Ellen to any of my friends or anybody for medical services or rehabilitation.”Yours very truly, Ray Smith
“Ellen is extremely caring, encouraging and professional. I have learnt more from Ellen than I have in all the years I have had diabetes and other medical conditions. She taught me in a very simple and effective way I could understand and I was provided with great resources I can regularly refer to. I have completely changed my life around. I now exercise nearly everyday, improved my eating habits, feel more energetic, less fatigued and motivated to improve my health everyday. I could not recommend Ellen highly enough. Thank you, Ellen!”Jill Serone
